Why I Contacted You

I am speaking with carriers, distribution centers, fleet operators, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), warehouse operators, and other local businesses to understand whether parking constraints create a meaningful operational problem.

The questions are deliberately high level:

1. How frequently does parking capacity become constrained?
2. When it does, is the shortage usually a few spaces or a larger operational problem?
3. Does the company ever use off-site or third-party parking?
4. Does parking availability affect dispatching, staging, trailer management, driver time, or other operations?
5. If professionally managed off-site parking existed nearby, what factors would determine whether it was useful?

Approximate answers and ranges are completely sufficient. There is no need to identify a particular location, shipment, or time.

I am using these conversations to determine whether there is enough unmet demand to justify further work on the concept. I am primarily interested in aggregated market patterns.

I will not publicly identify a company as having provided a particular response without its permission.

There is no obligation to participate, and “we don’t discuss this externally” is a completely reasonable answer.

This research may or may not lead to a development project.
